Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information TixCatch collects through tixcatch.com and the TixCatch Price Alerts SMS program, how we use it, and how we protect it.

Information We Collect

• Alert request information, including your mobile phone number, selected event, target ticket price, SMS consent status, and opt-in or opt-out timestamps.
• If you optionally request marketing emails, your email address, email consent and confirmation status, related timestamps, and the event associated with your signup.
• Messaging information, including inbound text message keywords or replies such as HELP, STOP, START, and LIST, plus service metadata needed to send and receive SMS messages.
• Contact information you choose to send through the contact form, including your name, email address, and message.
• Basic technical information, such as IP address, browser or device details, request logs, and security events used to operate and protect the site.
• Pseudonymous Google Analytics browser and session identifiers, along with public event or package identifiers and checkout milestones used to understand how customers move through TixCatch.
• Risk and verification information processed by Google reCAPTCHA when you submit protected forms.
• Purchase and access information, including selected alert packages, coverage dates, promo codes, payment status, Stripe transaction identifiers, and refund status. TixCatch does not receive or store your full payment card number.

How We Use Information

• To create, maintain, and manage TixCatch ticket price alert requests.
• To send requested SMS price alerts, confirmations, administrative replies, and help or opt-out responses.
• To respond to support requests and contact form messages.
• If you separately request and confirm marketing emails, to send occasional TixCatch news, ticket insights, and offers and to tailor those emails based on events associated with your signup.
• To monitor reliability, troubleshoot problems, prevent abuse, and protect the security of TixCatch.
• To measure site usage and checkout completion without sending private checkout links or contact information to Google Analytics.
• To detect automated submissions and protect public forms from spam and abuse using Google reCAPTCHA.
• To process purchases, apply package access to eligible alert rules, prevent duplicate charges, and maintain payment and refund records.
• To comply with legal, carrier, and messaging program requirements.

Marketing and Third-Party Sharing

TixCatch does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Mobile information, text messaging originator opt-in data, and SMS consent records will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We use service providers that help operate TixCatch, including providers that host the website, process payments through Stripe, deliver text messages, and manage marketing email subscriptions and campaigns. If you request marketing emails, we send your email address and event-based signup tag to Mailchimp for confirmation and email delivery. Service providers may access information only as needed to provide services for TixCatch and may not use it for their own marketing.

We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager on public pages. TixCatch may send privacy-limited signup, checkout, purchase, package-setup, and refund events to Google Analytics from its server. These events may include a pseudonymous browser or session identifier, public event or package information, purchase amount, currency, and promo code. TixCatch does not send phone numbers, email addresses, alert thresholds, Stripe identifiers, private access tokens, or protected page URLs to Google Analytics.

Public forms may be protected by Google reCAPTCHA. Its use is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Google Terms of Service.

Your Choices

You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. Marketing email signup is optional, requires confirmation through Mailchimp, and is separate from SMS consent. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any marketing email without affecting your price alerts. You can limit Google Analytics through your browser’s cookie controls or Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on. You can request help by replying HELP or by contacting hello@tixcatch.com.

Data Retention and Security

We keep information for as long as needed to provide TixCatch, honor opt-out requests, resolve support issues, maintain records, and meet legal or carrier requirements. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and operational safeguards to protect information.
